Aim assist in Call of Duty: Vanguard seems to be so strong it works through walls.

Aim assist has always been a point of contention for many fans of competitive multiplayers. Its purpose is usually to level the playing field for controller players, particularly where cross-platform with PC is involved. Some argue that aim assist allows consoles players to have a significant advantage, and in the case of Vanguard that certainly seems to ring true.

Recently, players have been highlighting the strength of Vanguard’s aim assist, showing how in some cases it manages to snap onto players hidden behind walls. Obviously, this doesn’t make a whole lot of sense and essentially allows players to track opponents as they move around behind cover.

One streamer in particular has recently highlighted his experiences with the game’s aim assist. In a Twitch stream, CoD streamer Ayden used the aim assist while playing Search and Destroy on Demyansk.
