After heading to Raw in 2021, Finn Bálor briefly won the United States Championship before teaming with AJ Styles and Liv Morgan to take on The Judgment Day at Hell in a Cell. Bálor would shock the WWE Universe the next night on Raw, becoming the newest member of The Judgment Day before turning on the founder, Edge, with members Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley.
