Apex Legends launched its 11th season at the start of November, and its brought plenty of new life to the game. Popular streamer Guy “Dr Disrespect” Beahm was among those players impressed by the new season, but he has streamed less and less of it as time goes on. During a recent stream, he explained the reasoning behind that decision.

“Nobody plays Apex Legends on YouTube,” he said. “Literally, nobody plays Apex. I loved Apex. I would to grind Apex ranked. I actually enjoyed the Apex grind on the new map. I did.”

Although the Doc could play on his own, he stands to benefit much more — and likely have a better time — if he streams with other streamer friends. Unfortunately, the other big gaming streamers on the platform aren’t as into Apex Legends as he is.

“Timmy doesn’t ever want to play,” he said, referring to Tim “TimTheTatman” Betar. “And then Zlaner… I don’t know,” the Doc continued, describing Zlaner as being more interested in Call of Duty than Apex.

With or without Dr Disrespect, Apex Legends’ Season 11 chugs along.
